Welcome
I’m a multimedia journalist based in Chicago and a McCormick Foundation Scholar who recently graduated from Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism.
I write about science, health, art and design; and my work has appeared in local and national publications, such as Time Out Chicago, Bust, Venus, Hartford Courant, The Dallas Morning News, the Austin American Statesman’s XL magazine, Tribeza and Austin Magazine. I am also enthusiastic about community service and helping the greater good: I started a bicycle group in college that raised money for local nonprofit, served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Costa Rica from 2008 to 2010, interned at international nonprofit buildOn, and I serve as a member of Chicago Women in Philanthropy.
I love to travel. I was born in Singapore and lived in Indonesia, Japan and Qatar. In my free time, I enjoy cooking healthy food, micro-blogging about art and design, dancing to soul music and reading young adult novels.
